Current-Voltage (IV) and Capacitance-Voltage Measurement System

The system is capable of the following:

  • High precision dark and illuminated IV measurements in a very wide current and voltage ranges (10-14 to 0.1 A and 10-5 - 40). Illumination types: AM1.5 solar simulator illumination on 1.5" x 1.5" area (100 mW/cm2); Halogen lamp illumination on 2" x 2" area with variable power densities in the range of 10 to 200 mW/cm2.
  • Programmable voltage-time and current-time measurements for transient spectroscopy, reliability and lifetime measurements.
  • IV measurement on two, three, four, five, and six terminal electronic devices and circuits.
  • Impedance-voltage measurement in the frequency range of 10 to 107 Hz.

User Fees:

  • Training: $75
  • User fee: $120/hour for trained users;
  • Minimum usage time: 30 min
