BROOKINGS, SD - A partnership that began 10 years ago has helped dozens of Native American students go to college. The Success Academy through South Dakota State University takes students from Flandreau Indian School and shows them what college life is like, with hopes of motivating them to enroll. Now, for the first time ever, a Success Academy student has earned his college degree.
