Research Interests: My primary research interests include the following:
(1)
characterizing Black Hills biodiversity and phylogenetic relationships at the molecular level
using genomics-based methods,
(2) identifying plant defense and stress-related genes, and
(3)
investigating the evolution of alternative splicing within a model plant gene family.
